What will I be doing?
You’ll take ownership of test activity within new product development projects – designing experiments, running lab-based investigations, and turning data into actionable insights. Acting as a technical lead in the lab, you’ll be hands-on with prototype systems, supporting development from concept through to market release.

Key responsibilities:

• Plan and deliver test programmes to validate new technologies
• Design and run experiments, then analyse and report results
• Operate and maintain print systems, ink delivery setups, and associated tools
• Lead problem-solving activities, identifying root causes and driving solutions
• Produce clear documentation including test reports, SOPs, and risk assessments
• Champion high lab standards through organisation, safety, and 5S practices
• Contribute ideas and initiatives to improve test capability and efficiency

We’re looking for:

• Degree-qualified in Engineering, Physics, Chemistry, or a related STEM subject
• 6+ years’ experience in a lab or engineering environment, ideally within R&D
• Strong problem-solver with a methodical approach to complex systems
• Practical, hands-on mindset with the ability to lead from the front in a lab setting
• Confident communicator, comfortable engaging with peers, managers, and customers
• Familiarity with engineering best practices such as FMEA/FTA is an advantage
