Socode are proud to be working with an advanced printing innovator who are helping to shape the next generation of print technologies.

What will I be doing? You’ll play a key role in testing and validating new products in a busy R&D environment. From preparing and running experiments to capturing performance data and keeping the lab running smoothly, you’ll be hands-on with exciting technology at the early stages of development.

Key responsibilities:

• Carry out product tests to ensure new designs meet project requirements
• Set up, run, and maintain ink systems and printing equipment
• Build simple prototype parts such as cables and connectors
• Keep accurate records of test results using standard software tools
• Support documentation by helping draft procedures, reports, or risk assessments
• Contribute to the smooth running of the lab through general upkeep and 5S activities

We’re looking for:

• Practical, hands-on mindset with strong attention to detail
• Background in a lab, workshop, or R&D setting where following procedures is key
• Confident using Microsoft Office (especially Excel) to record and share results
• A collaborative team player with clear communication skills
• Comfortable picking up new tools and processes quickly
• Any knowledge of printing systems, soldering, or cable assembly would be a bonus – but training can be provided
