Linux Systems Administrator | 15-20 hours Part time| Cambridge | 50k Pro Rata
Our client is a dynamic and innovative technology company dedicated to building engineering software tools.
I am on the hunt for a Linux Systems administrator, who also can basic troubleshoot around Windows 10/11. You will be responsible for managing and maintaining our Linux-based systems and infrastructure. You will play a key role in ensuring the stability, security, and performance of our systems while also providing support to internal teams and stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Linux administration, excellent problem-solving skills, and a passion for technology.

Key Responsibilities:
- Install, configure, and maintain Linux servers and systems
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise
- Take a lead on IT for the business and advise on legacy equipment to upgrade
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (VMware)
- Have a base understanding of M365 & windows 10/11 to chip in when needed around the business
- Knowledge of Security & Networking
