Medical Device RF Engineer with a focus on wearables

Job description

Medical Devices, especially wearable and injectable devices, can be found in abundance across Cambridge MedTech businesses but the key areas of focus for THIS business are focused on patient health, recovery monitoring and diagnosis management.

The Cambridgeshire based business have created a relatively new team that is in need of a focused RF and Electromagnetics Engineer to help develop RF-sub systems for wearable medical devices. You will also get to work on systems, antenna, WiFi, BLE and more as part of your daily role and will work collaboratively with a number of internal and external teams.

So, you will get to own the actual entire development of rf sub-systems and will be a core engineer in the team with no immediate management duties needed.

Perhaps you have worked at a product development company or consultancy in recent times and are looking to join a more established business to work on consistent projects with better benefits!

Talking of benefits, the business can offer a very competitive salary, annual bonus, 25 days holiday, private medical insurance, top range pension and extras such as free lunch and food on site (they have a new restaurant on site that is absolutely unreal).

At the end of the day if you are proficient in electromagnetic simulations, have a strong antenna design background and can communicate clearly with others (this is key as you will be expected to meet with external clients to explain your work) then this is something you should apply for.

Click apply and you will come through to myself, or look me up on LinkedIn - Alexander Flory - and we can talk more on there.
