Job Title: Graduate Acoustic Engineer

Location: North Cambridge

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

SoCode recruitment have been asked to seek for a Graduate Acoustic Engineer to help the leading global supplier of digital radio products, applications and systems that are built specifically for the use of public services.

As a graduate Engineer you will be involved in the full lifecycle of these mission critical products from development from prototype stages through to a physical final product.

You will learn about acoustic design, DSP algorithms for speech enhancement, how to improve audio quality and clarity, acoustic measurement techniques and safety standards.

Essential:

• Have a completed degree in Acoustic Engineering, Sound/Music Technology or similar.

Preferable:

• Experience in Python or MATLAB data processing and analysis.
• Understanding of DSP (Digital Signal Processing).
• Knowledgeable in Speech Analysis.
• Audio electronics, amplifiers and transducers understanding.
