Software Development Manager (People & Process) - Cambridge

Job description

SoCode are looking for 2  Software Development Managers for our well known client - an Electronics/SemiConductor company based on the Cambridge Business Park.

Our client is expanding their technology function by 60 heads in 2019 (similar growth was experienced in 2018) and as such there is extra demand for Management level skills in the Software function.

We are open to people who have not been Managers before but do have the desire to work in a role which is people and process centric. No previous experience in Electronics or Semiconductors is required. 

These roles will report in to the newly-appointed Head of Software who will offer support to the successful candidates. 

 

Essential Skills: 

Strong Experience and Desire to work with People & Processes 

Agile / SCRUM Experience & Enthusiasm 

Focus on L&D and Continuous Development Environment Improvement

Managing / Appraising / Mentoring / Coaching 

 

Desirable Skills:

Previous experience as a Software Engineer / SCRUM Master 

Knowlege of C++ / Ability to Code-review.
