Data Scientist – Up to £600/day – Fully Remote – Outside of IR35

     

   

This is a contract to work on a Covid -19 research project for the government, you will be working with world leading academic institutions in London and government bodies to engineer and analyse data from millions of individuals to understand the effects of Covid -19 and vaccinations.

This is one of the most important research projects in the country right now and they are looking for with the following skillset:

 

    

Requirements:

-      Degree, Ideally PhD in a STEM subject from a leading academic institution

-      Experience of applying practical machine learning algorithms to real-world data

-      Experience in implementing statistical models and analytical algorithms in software

-      Practical experience of the handling and mining of large, diverse, data sets

-      Strong development capability (Python)

-      Cloud deployment experience (AWS)

     

    

What this role entails:

-      Working alongside world leading researchers at top UK academic institutions

-      End-to-end processing and modelling of large health data sets

-      Developing statistical models and algorithms

-      Applying analytical theory to real world problems on large and dynamic datasets

-      Providing input into future data science strategy and product development

-      Developing an understanding of industry data structures and processes
