Flexible Working

Cambridge Science Park

Your new organisation

It’s not often an opportunity arises with a successful start-up, offering flexible working, a tight nit team of 6 genuine people who are looking for an additional member of their team to assist them in growing further at an integral part of their journey. They’re offering an above market salary, tailored packages, and you get to work in the middle of the Cambridge tech hub. I know what you’re asking, where’s the catch? Well, I’ve yet to find one.  This talented bunch specialise in the remote conditioning of bolted assets using their cutting-edge sensor technology, hardware, and fully integrated communication systems.

Your new role

Firstly, you’re going to be involved with every stage of product development, from concept to production release. This is a team role, and as such, you’ll be working alongside the software and mechanical leads working on the development of their sensor products, for safety and performance critical assets in the rail, oil and gas industries. Not only you, but everyone will be involved with jumping in, headfirst to get involved with the multi trillion-dollar Internet of Things market.

What you get in return

This is an exciting time for these people, and as such you’ll be a part of genuine growth, helping the company realise it’s true potential, with current and sustained growth. It’s important these people find the right talent, and as such are willing to pay up to £60,000 (to be reviewed on a quarterly basis), genuine flexible working, and a tailored package, to fit you.

Technical Requirements

This is a technical role, and as such we need to rule out the nitty gritty stuff. Here are some essential pieces, which you’ll need to have;

  • Firmware
  • PCB Layout and design
  • Sensor design and sensor integration
  • Knowledge of communication protocols, both wired and wireless
  • Hands on experience with general lab equipment (soldering stations, power supplies, oscilloscopes, DMM, etc.)
  • Degree in Electronic Engineering or equivalent
