Cell and gene therapy is revolutionising the medical world day by day. Currently chemo and radiotherapy only have a 10% success rate of complete remission, whereas cell therapy increase that to 50%. But it does come at a cost and can cost the NHS up to £2 million per patient.

This Cambridge consultancy are working on multiple different projects to help push the innovation in the cell and gene world and make it more accesable to more people! 

During your role as Mechanical Engineering Lead, you will have the opportunity to lead complex technical projects in the cell & gene and wider biotechnology field, using your strong leadership skills to manage timelines, budgets, and resources effectively - alongside also working collaboratively within multidisciplinary team.

You will also get the chance to take full ownership of your projects, all the way from managing client relationships, to actual project delivery. Not only do you get to remain hands-on, you will also be able to lead teams, propose and develop brand new technological and commercial offerings, whilst also uncovering innovative technology and valuable business opportunities.

If you have experience in the world of Biotechnology and you're interested in helping develop bespoke, innovative hardware solutions in Cell & Gene therapies, combining biology, engineering and physical sciences to create groundbreaking solutions, including scalable manufacturing systems to help fight cancer, we should speak!
