SoCode are proud to be working with a scaling start-up operating in the Cambridge Fintech space. Their business is focused on placing customers at the center of everything they do.

They are looking for a Lead Engineer who will be focused on developing and creating cutting edge products, working in a Spotify squad methodology. You will be leading the team of software and test engineers to develop the cloud native platform using C#, Java and Docker.

What the job entails:

• Designing and developing software based on user needs
• Driving quality standards
• Building easy to use granular API’s
• Share your knowledge on ASP.Net Core, Java containers at scale, Chef, ADO, Rest API’s
• Owning the CI/CD pipelines for Cloud Deployment
• Working with product owners to work through the product roadmap
• Following an Agile approach and reporting to the head of engineering.

The position offers a very competitive salary of £80 000 - £95 000 with a great benefits package. There will also be a flexible working approach – at the moment the role will be fully remote and then once things get back to normal after Covid-19, it will be 2 days in the office and 3 days home based.
