Helpdesk / IT Support Engineer

SoCode are working alongside a large and very successful manufacturing company based in Measham (Commutable from Burton, Leicester, Tamworth, Derby) who are looking for an IT Support / Helpdesk Technician.  This role will form part of a growing team and offers someone the opportunity to gain a diverse skillset and train and develop whilst working in a commercial environment.

Your role will involve 1st and 2nd Line., Hardware and Software Support, working alongside non-technical users to fix problems and help train them to improve their IT/Software user skills.

Processes/Procedures

Mobile Phones / Printers / Telephone Systems

Supporting 800 Users over 8 Sites

You will be able to train and gain qualifications whilst in this role and be part of a growing organisation which will offer strong career progression and development opportunities. There will be the requirement to travel between sites (not very often) so a driving license is essential – you will also form part of an on-call rota to provide evening and weekend support cover if required.
