Hardware Architect (FPGA) - Secure Communications

Job description

The risks from cyber space (including the internet, wider telecommunications networks and computer systems) have been identified in the National Security Risk Assessment as a serious risk.

Are you a Senior Hardware Architect who wants to pioneer the future of electronic platforms in defence, security, and beyond? In this role, you’ll be working in a diverse team of innovators and strategists across multiple disciplines, shaping the solutions that push the boundaries and drive results in the Defence industry.

As a Senior Hardware Architect, you'll lead the development of sophisticated hardware architectures, diving deep into embedded systems to meet your concepts. But it doesn't stop there – your creativity is not limited, as you explore applications across sectors, from healthcare to consumer goods with a focus on defence. If you want to work in a culture that fosters innovation and collaboration, ensuring that your work resonates far beyond defence and security sectors, then this is the role for you!

Key technologies you’ll be working with are:
  • Software Defined Radio
  • High-speed Networking
  • Hardware-Based Security
With autonomy over your time and schedule, you'll get the perfect balance between work and life. Whether you're tackling unique challenges or mentoring less experienced engineers, your impact will be felt across the division, every step of the way.

Candidates will require the ability to obtain the highest level of security clearance in the UK.
