Hardware Sensor Contract Engineer

Job description

This is a 3 month rolling contract, with a Cambridge based startup, working on sensor solutions for different industries. The contract will be 3 days on site, with 2 days working from home, and is outside of IR35.

 

They’ve recently come into a new package of work and in need of a contractor to assist as a Accelerometer Sensor Specialist. This is to understand and benchmark the performance of digital and analogue accelerometer sensors. They need someone who understands analogue filtering, who can transfer onto boards. There will be a focus here of analogue to digital conversion.

 

Ideally, you’ll have accelerometer sensor experience, with a strong understanding of digital and analogue sensor principles, signal conditioning and data acquisition. You'll also need experience working within hardware electronics, and some coding experience with either c, c++ or python.
