SoCode are recruiting for a Firmware Team Leader on behalf of our client – a globally renowned Consumer Electronics company best known for their Market Leading products.  Your role will be to innovate and develop a series of new features and functions – bringing an every-day home product in to the IOT and Connected Devices space.

80% of your role will be leading the Firmware function and hands-on firmware engineering.

You’ll also be responsible for managing and co-ordinating 3 other Firmware Engineers within the business and for the success of the Firmware function as a whole.

This role would suit a Senior/Principal Level Firmware Engineer with a high level of technical capability who wants to move in to their first team-lead position.

Key Skills

• Significant Experience of Firmware Engineering with Embedded C
• Experience with Embedded OS
• STM32 Microcontroller Experience
• Exceptional Communication Skills and High-Energy will be required in this fast paced and innovative engineering team.
• A Passion to Innovate
