The Company

This high-tech group are working on emerging technologies, enabling the worlds simplest sensor technologies for the next generation of smart devices. With touch technology becoming a part of more technology as we evolve, this tech is being integrated into literally billions of devices, and as such this is well funded group. Although these guys are just past the start up phase, they still have a start mentality, meaning they work hard. This is a fast-paced place to work, with different problems emerging on a day to day basis, however you’ll encounter an abundance of accomplishments, and your impact will be visible. This company take what they do seriously, although don’t take themselves too seriously. They work in very modern offices based in the science park, with a fully equipped lab, and lots of social activities. Essentially, it’s fast paced environment, but a fun place to be, working with engineers who are at the top of their game.

The Opportunity

You’d be coming on board to help design, develop characterise and test hardware that integrates the company’s sensor technology into demonstrators, prototypes and customer projects. You’ll have the opportunity to shape the way, this IP is developing and bring these products into market.

You’ll also get a salary up to £45,000 (negotiable depending on relevant and quality experience), annual bonus, regular social events, professional training, free on-site parking.

Tech Requirements

• Strong degree in electronic engineering or similar, or equivalent practical experience

• Experienced user of electronic design software

• Good understanding of fundamental electronic principles

• Hands-on experience of prototype development

• Experience of sensor measurement, analogue and mixed signal circuitry, low noise design

• Ability to execute own work with minimal supervision

• Ability to work under pressure, and tight deadlines
