SoCode are now looking for a Contract Mechanical Engineers, the contract is for an initial 6 months with the opportunity to extend. My client is a well established market leader. As they look to bring out new product and constantly push the boundaries of their technology, they are looking to add a contract Mechanical Engineer to the team to assist with the design of their products.

Rates: £30 - £43 per hour
Location: Cambridge, CB4

Skills;

• Experienced Creo user.
• Electro-mechanical packaging such as; PCB housing, switches, buttons etc.
• Ruggedised equipment design.
• Design of production environment jigs & fixtures.
• Low volume manufacturing techniques.
• Design and specification of pneumatics & pneumatic control.
• Engineering process and control.
• A good knowledge of tolerance analysis techniques.
