Our client is one of the largest European-headquartered providers in their Market, they pride themselves on being a fast-growing organisation who are dedicated and determined to make an impact. 

With some great new plans in place for the next 12-18 months, our client is looking for a VB6 Developer with recent up to date experience.

Based in North Cambridge they are in a great location for individuals traveling by car or public transport.

The Role:

The successful candidate will be working on both the legacy and new products ensuring there is diversity in the role. You will be responsible for your own code and making sure your written functions are as designed. You will be working within an Agile Team so previous experience and belief of continuing this is essential within the business.

Technically:

  • Recently experience of VB6 (Visual Basic 6) Development.
  • SQL and Oracle Database experience
  • Knowledge and commercial experience of working in Agile teams.
  • C# & .Net experience would be beneficial, or a desire to learn them.

The successful individual will need to be a proactive and a self-motivated person who is keen to learn new technologies. A clear desire for Software Development and an interest in all thing technology related. A keen question asker and learner would fit in to the team very well.

Salary would be depending on experience; however, we are looking up to £47,000.
