SoCode are working with a very exciting startup, with an exciting client base that includes some real market leaders. On the back of that they have secured additional funding, and are really pushing on from strength to strength.

We are looking for a Software Test Manager to come in and build up the test function from scratch. Initially you would be very hands on, using your abilities as a software test engineer, designing and implementing tests, creating test automation frameworks and establishing the foundations of the test engineer environment. Very quickly though, you would then begin to build the team around you, incorporating manual and automation testers, which you will oversee from a more senior capacity, whilst maintaining that hands on approach.

As well as senior level testing experience, you will have a tenacious approach towards testing and a relentless desire to find and eliminate faults. You will also be team orientated, with the right sort of "roll up your sleeves" attitude to succeed in a startup.

Requirements for application:

• Senior Test Engineering experience at minimum
• Test Management, or demonstrable ability to take the step up in to that lead role
• Recent hands on testing experience
• Embedded and internet based testing
• Python, Javascript, GIT, Linux, Embedded Linux, Embedded C, SQL, HTML/XML
• The mentality to work within an exciting successful startup
