SoCode are recruiting 2 Software Test Engineers / QA & Automation Test Engineers for a market leading client based in a very appealling central Edinburgh location. Our client are a global software development company, but the Edinburgh team specialise on a specific set of products, so whilst there is some integration with other offices, it has the feeling of a small close knit team.

You will be an experienced test engineer, whether automation already, or highly skilled manual looking for the next step. You will have experience of the full software development lifecyle, from working with BRDs and deriving test cases, through to final product. An appreciation for tracability and it's importance, as well as a tenacious attitude towards problem solving are both important.

This is an empowered working environment where the team is given the flexibility to discuss technology usage and how best to approach problems. It is likely that test frameworks and automated tests will be coded in C#, but that will be a full team decision that you would be fully involved in.

Requirements for application:

• 5 years' experience in software test engineering
• Understanding the development lifecycle (FDLC / SDLC)
