SoCode are working with an interesting Telecommunications company specilising within complex hardware who’re currently looking for a Junior Devops Engineer. Your new company is based within North Cambridge, next to the Cambridge North Train Station. This company works within 50 countries, and is the market leader within their field. 

Your new role will be working with the software development operations team in developing systems using Jenkins, while providing a testing framework for others to use. You will be implementing and supporting the test infrastructure which includes continuous integration and build tools. You will be keeping records of test results / trends while developing a suite of product metrics to give insight into product performance.

To be successful in this role you will have a background within CI / CD tools such as Jenkins, Teamcity or Buildbot with a strong knowledge of Python and good troubleshooting skills. This is a multi OS role, but heavy Linux orientated experience is needed. You will be driven to learn new architectures, work with large existing code bases and a long term desire to learn and grow.

This role has a competitive salary between £30k to £45k based on experience, with 25 days holiday, contributory pension, gym membership, health insurance for yourself / family, as well as free fruit, tea and coffee!
