SoCode have partnered with a well-known and growing Wireless company on an Exclusive basis who are looking for a Software Manager / Principal Architect.

Our client, based on the Cambridge Science Park, is at the forefront of emerging 5G technology. This is a new position within the business, responsibilities would be diverse and wide-ranging, as summarised below:

 

1) Mangement of Software Team (10 People) 

Appraisals / L&D / Mentoring / Coaching of existing Software Engineers/QA Team 

Running Stand Ups and Software Meetings. 

Program Managment & Knowledge of Software Release Cycles

 

2) Hands on Coding / Architecture 

Product Roadmap Ownership and Architectural Ownership.  

Desire to remain in a hands-on coding position (when required) within an Embedded Systems / Distributed Systems Environemnt.

 

 3) Working as part of SMT (Senior Mangement Team) 

Making key strategic decisions alongside CTO & Hardware Manager regarding product and company direction.

 

 4) Experience of Wiress / Networking / IOT Technology Space

 

This role is well rewarded (Salary £80,000 - £90,000pa) with a range of benefits for the successful candidate.
