Software Engineer (Embedded C/Linux)- Contract- Cambridge- £40-£50 an hour 

My global reaching client in Cambridge are looking for two Embedded Software Engineers to contribute towards the development of a brand new Android platform.

The successful applicants will have experience working ion an Agile development environment which contains rapidly evolving requirements.

Previous embedded Linux platform software development experience of a released commercial product is essential. Exposure to Android platform software would be an advantage.

Role Responsibilities:

• Maintenance and enhancements of the embedded Linux platform software, including writing, integrating and optimising device drivers and low-level software components.
• Trialling and integrating open-source development tools for debugging, profiling, memory leak detection etc.
• The production of design and test specifications.
• Developer testing, investigation and resolution of issues.
