SoCode are recruiting for a Software Development Manager / (Software Practice Manager) for one of our Exclusive clients based on the Cambridge Science Park. Our client works in a very interesting and emerging technology space and much of the work is of a Greenfield nature. 

Our client is well known for their very flat structure and Agile development practices - they have grown by 50 Software and Test Engineers in 2018 and forecast similar growth levels in 2019.

This has placed a large additional workload on the Software Director who is looking for a Software Development Manager to assist him with the additional workload this growth has brought.This is a new role. 

Working alongside one of the most respected Software Directors in the UK, the Software Manager will gain an excellent exposure to high-level Software strategy and will learn from some of the most talented Engineers around.

 

Key Skills & Experience:

 

-Exceptional knowledge of Agile / Scrum Practices

-Previoius Experience in People Management / Software Management

- Good exposure to SDLC / Project Mangement 

-Previous Experience of Appraising / Mentoring Software Developers/Testers

-Ability to work alongisde various stakeholders and functions internally

-A believer in continuous improvement and L&D
