Software Architect – Cambridge - £65-£75k  

Our client, who are a global market leader in the design and production of critical communication products, systems and applications are currently looking for a Software Architect to join their office based in Cambridge.

You will be leading the embedded software architecture and design both for new systems and for new products. You will be helping to drive the proposed architectural changes from pitch stage to implementation, so you will need to be both technically gifted and a confident communicator for this role.

Our client beautiful offices are situated just north of Cambridge (7-9 miles from the city centre)

A successful candidate will possess:

-          Detailed knowledge of Embedded C with an electronics environment.

-          Experience with Embedded Linux and associated develop tools for debugging, profiling, code coverage, etc.

-          Previous experience working as Software Architect within a consumer electronics environment is highly desirable.  

-          Experience with embedded components and electronics e.g. Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, USB, boot-loader, embedded file system, etc.

Our clients are offering an attractive salary ranging from £65,000 - £75,000 including generous benefits such as flexible working hours, attractive pension, etc.
