Sharepoint Engineer - Central Cambridge

SoCode has partnered with a growing telecoms company based in central Cambridge, close to the train station, who are looking for a SharePoint Engineer to join their team. The company is highly ethical, collaborating in industries around sustainable energy, high-energy physics, environmental disasters, medicine and deep space projects. This is a collaborative role which will define the strategy and road map for SharePoint services for our organisation. You will be working within the software development team to ensure all end-user needs are identified and addressed. This role requires an individual with a solution-focused approach, who will work in a collaborative manner in an open and positive team.

We are looking for individuals with experience within Windows Server 2012 R2, 2016 as part of this role will be to design, deploy, maintain, optimise & automate SharePoint farms, Active Directory Federated Services farms, ADDS, Office Web Apps farms and another SharePoint dedicated infrastructure. Ideally, you will also have experience scripting with PowerShell / C#

Regarding SharePoint 2013, 2016 & Online, we are looking for individuals to design, develop, implement and maintain of the SharePoint service. This will include design and development of solutions for SharePoint using OOTB (including SP Designer, InfoPath, Flow, Power Apps and more) capabilities, Office 365 tools and coding (HTML/CSS/JS and C#/.NET). Part of this will include performing migrations & content syncs between different versions of SharePoint and other solutions like Box, Confluence, NetSuite

Lastly, we are looking for skills in SQL Server 2012, 2017, this will be to design, implement and maintain of a SharePoint dedicated SQL Server (2012 & 2017) farm, including performance tuning, high availability and disaster recovery measures. Ideally scripting with T-SQL

Benefits: The salary is up to £55,000 with 30 days holiday + 8 Bank Holidays, private healthcare and a 5% bonus + many more.
