Senior Software Systems Engineer
Salary: up to £57,000 + Share Options + Benefits
Location: Great Abington
Working Environment: On-site (1-day WFH per week)
The company is an established tech firm operating within the biotech domain, providing specialist devices and materials to the pharmaceutical and academic research sectors. Following continued success, they are in search of a Senior Software Systems Engineer to join the team.
As Senior Software Systems Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in the front-loaded design of their products (which include lots of hardware), with responsibilities of requirements capture to define the software, risk assessments, regulatory compliance and executing design reviews in line with their design and development processes. You will also produce use cases, interfaces and other technical documentation, as well as managing verification and validation activities.

Key Requirements
- A degree in Physics, Engineering or relevant subject / experience.
- Experienced in developing software architectures and designs for systems involving hardware, whilst also having had exposure to the entire product lifecycle.
- Experience of defining, documenting and managing software requirements, whilst also managing risks.
Desired, but not essential:
- Experience with medical devices.
- Experience designing products within the biotech sector.
- Experience working within an Agile environment.
