Sam Bennett

​Sam began his SoCode journey in August 2021.

Managing the C++ market, he helps software engineers land their dream roles as well as clients grow their business by attracting the best talent on the market.

"I was raised in a small rural town called Alhaurín el Grande, located in the province of Málaga, Spain. Growing up in the Mediterranean was a privilege, I attended a Spanish secondary school, became fluent in Spanish and played for a local football team... enjoying as much tapas as I could along the way."

What do you like about working at SoCode and what have you learnt?

"Whilst the business has many great attributes, the quality I find most attractive about SoCode is the determination to succeed that resonates across the business at both an individual level and as a collective. Everyone works in a mutually symbiotic nature, which is quite rare within the recruitment industry, and the culture is very inclusive.

There is a wealth of experience across the business, and exposure to this has not only contributed towards learning and growing my market knowledge, but it has helped shape me into the consultant I am today."

Where would we find you outside of work?

"I am a huge football and motorsport enthusiast. You will find me reading, watching or taking part in either of these sports wherever possible. I'm a massive foodie and partial to a nice rum."
