We are looking for junior, mid-level and senior Software engineers to join the Big Data department as the team looks to grow during Q1 of 2019.

Role: Junior/Mid-Level/Senior Software Engineer - Scala

Type: Perm

Salary: £45-£85K + Benefits

Location: London

This opportunity will appeal to individuals that are passionate about engineering, that like to develop in their own time, looking to constantly learn and improve. Ideally, you will be someone that has an interest in big data and tech like Scala, Spark & Python. You will get the chance to work with data scientists, data engineers and developers - Using next generation big data, semantic web and cloud technologies.

Skills & Experience

• Experience with Scala either in a commercial environment or on personal projects,
• Cloud based experience – AWS or Azure,
• Strong experience with JVM – Either Java or Scala,
• An advocate of SOLID,
• Positive and enthusiastic attitude,
• A keen desire to deliver against objective,
• Comfortable working an Agile environment.
