£50,000 to £70,000 depending on experience

We are partnered again with one of our long-standing clients who is looking for a Senior Software Engineer. Even in these very uncertain times this company is looking to move forward and carry on growing. They are a growing company who have gone from strength to strength. They have become a market leader in their area of expertise. They are looking for a highly skilled front-end developer who can help with their new product release. This will be an amazing opportunity to work on a totally GREENFIELD project and will be central to the company’s core product.
The company is based in Cambridge and is a real powerhouse in their sector. They are leading the way in their field and are looking for driven and motivated Senior software engineer who can be autonomous and help bring this new platform to life. I have just successfully placed the lead developer and need to help grow the team with solid foundations.
*This is a full remote role but they may require you occasionally onsite in their Cambridge office.*
The candidate should meet the following requirements:
- Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or numerate subject – Top Grades are Beneficial
- Understanding of Java or Python
- Solid background in UX/UI
- Ability to communicate well with a broad range of people, including Product Owners, Testers, Training and Product Support.
- Experience of using Agile methodologies such as Scrum and DevOps.
- Exposure to working in a DevOps environment
