Senior/Lead UX Engineer - Cambridge - £50,000 - £60,000

We have a great opportunity available for an experience UX Engineer to join our client on their next journey. Based in Cambridge, our client is in a great location with recently renovated offices to make space for company expansion. The Role:

We are looking for candidates that live and breathe UX, we want to see passion and drive to deliver pure excellence. Candidates will need to hold previous management, mentoring, recruitment and forecasting experience.

Alongside this you will be required to be hands-on, this will be part of your everyday role so candidates will need to be versatile in their approach to work.

You will be responsible for the full handover from a current onsite contractor, initially you will be the sole individual in UX until you get your feet under the table. Shortly after you will be responsible for recruiting 2 new individuals to work alongside you with a view to building a team of 4-5 including yourself over the next 18-24 months.

Comprehensive experience of UX design is essential alongside knowledge of UX Software Packages such as: InVision, UXPin, Balsamiq, Framer.js. Experience of delivering project in an Agile environment is also a necessity.

  • Outstanding communication skills, not only with colleague but also to effectively communicate design prosses and solutions to clients.
  • Participation in daily stand ups
  • Work with the developers to deliver front end code.

Candidates are required to work a 35-hour week Monday – Friday.

Working hours are flexible, however this will need to be between the hours of 8.00am – 6.00pm.
