Due to continued success and expansion of our client, SoCode are sourcing a Senior Reliability Engineer and Failure Analysis Engineer to join the validation team of a world leading high tech electronics company specialising on cutting edge optoelectronic technology.

This is a very exciting time to join our client, who will be investing a lot in to the UK as they plan on building a brand new purpose built and highly specified facility for III-V optoelectronics R&D and manufacture.

As a senior engineer, you will be responsible for a broad spectrum of work across this field, and will have the abillity to work in a senior capacity supporting device design and fabrication process development, and managing maintenance of reliability equipment.

This is a Senior role, so as a technical lead in this area, you will also be expected to stay on top of developments in the industry, promoting improvements, and identifying new reliability and failure analysis methods for optoelectronic devices.

Requirements for application

• Experienced in Reliability or Failure Analysis
• Experience in the Optoelectronic industry or III-V semiconductors
• The ability to keep up to date knowledge, and identify and develop new failure analysis and reliability methods
• Degree qualified in a relevant industry
