4 x Java Developer vacancies

SoCode have partnered with a rapidly expanding company in Cambridge who're looking for skilled Java Software Engineers with a passion for being the best they can be. We are looking for individuals with two or more years working with Java back-end development, so Juniors to Principle level programmers will be considered.

You will be working on microservice architecture on modernising a legacy application to their much more modern highly available software stack. Ideally you will have experience with Java as well as using Spring / Hibernate frameworks, alongside high-volume messaging experience using Kafka or ActiveMQ. You will need to be able to contribute to development and deployments of highly available and scalable systems. You will also be advising product owners of any added value behind prioritising any immediate deliverables and will continually refine and streamline the software development practices.

The salary and associated benefits for this role are highly competitive. But we anticipate the basic salary to be £30,000 to £65,000 per annum with private healthcare, a good pension, gym membership, flexible working, team day out funds and individual bonus's. The working environment at this company is fantastic, with a very modern open plan office with a pool table, dart board and canteen on site.

The interview process for this role will start with a technical test, then a telephone interview before finishing with one face to face interview.
