Senior Front-End Developer - Cambridge - £50,000 - £60,000

We are currently looking to recruit a Senior Front-End Developer for one of our clients. With outstanding feedback and reviews, this is considered to be one of the best technology organisations in Cambridge to be working for.

As a new role to the business this is a key position with fantastic potential. We are looking for an experience and Senior Level Front-End Developer who is looking for their next challenge. You will be working within a new team that will continue to grow over the next 12 months.

Due to this experience as a Leader within product teams is required. You will be working in conjunction with UX Designers, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers and Testers. Collectively you will work together to deliver the highest quality of code that will work across Mobile, Tablet and Desktop.

Alongside coding you will contribute towards the design process, refractor code to fix any bugs, provide estimates for Front End delivery and participate in the stand ups, planning meetings and retrospectives.

The successful candidate will:

-        Hold the ability to pick up on the Front-End Development work.

-        Ability to mentor and support other developers.

-        Ability to communicate ideas, opinions and solutions clearly and effectively.

-        Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism.

Essential candidate requirements:

-        Senior level commercial Front-End development experience.

-        Working as part of an Agile development team.

-        Expert in HTML, CSS (Inc. SASS) and JavaScript, including an advanced understanding of manipulating the DOM and Binding events.

-        JavaScript Framework experience with libraries such as Angular, React and Redux. React experience would be highly beneficial.

-        Experience using GIT / GitHub for version control.

A basic salary of between £50,000 - £60,000 is offered alongside a comprehensive benefits package including: 25 days’ holiday, Individual performance bonus, wide range of Insurances and protections, 5% Pension and best of all… free parking in at the Cambridge offices!

Candidates are required to work a 35-hour week Monday – Friday.

Working hours are flexible, however this will need to be between the hours of 8.00am – 6.00pm.
