Job description
SoCode are working with a leading manufacturer of smart home technology chips and devices to source a Senior Software Engineer, developing systems in an embedded environment on Linux Platform Software on both existing and new projects.
Working very closely with both hardware and software as a senior engineer, your role will see you developing and testing software, as well as integrating with new hardware and software systems. This role will also suit a good communicator, as you will need to understand and meet specific client requirements, as well as provide technical support to junior members of the team, suppliers, and clients.

Requirements for application:
- Embedded Linux
- C/C++
- Excellent communication skills
Beneficial:
- Smart home or consumer electronics experience
- Low level kernel and device driver development
