The Role
You’ll play a key role in shaping the product and mentoring other developers, all while working closely with teams across the organisation.

This is a high-impact role suited to those who enjoy leading from the front - technically, strategically, and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

• Lead development across the full software development lifecycle (SDLC).
• Mentor team members
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define architecture and technical direction.
• Champion best practices in software design, testing, and maintenance.
• Own technical decisions and deliver solutions that are scalable, secure, and performant.
• Develop deep expertise in one or more areas of the tech stack and support others in those areas.

Requirements

• 3+ years of hands-on industry experience, including leading end-to-end technical projects.
• Relevant Bachelor's or Master's degree with a First or 2:1
• Proven track record of solving complex problems with well-designed, scalable systems.
• Strong experience with backend technologies such as:
  • Node.js
  • PostgreSQL
  • Redis
  • Elasticsearch
• Exposure to Python, Java, or modern frontend frameworks is a bonus.
