A leading company in the telecommunications sector are looking for someone to replace a key member of the team who will be retiring soon. Having recently released multiple products to the market, they are need of an experienced R&D Project Manager from the sector (or similar) to join the business initially on a part-time basis (2-4 days based on a case-by-case basis, more junior candidates would probably require more time on-site).

Based on the north-side of Cambridge a small team of talented and experienced individuals care for the new product development, and new feature development for the business.

At least three years’ project management experience within an R&D function in the sector, working with multidisciplinary teams (software/hardware/mechanical). This is a good opportunity for someone wanting a bit more time to spend with family, somewhere near the end of their career looking to go part-time, or someone who would like to free up more time to spend on other projects (professional or otherwise!).

The team is full of people with decades of experience in new product development, so opportunities for L&D strong in this position.  

Based on the commercial success of the upcoming product releases there is scope to go full-time in the future, but no guarantees can be made at this point.
