Overview:
Our client, is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure Manager with a strong background in networking to lead the development and support of their enterprise infrastructure environment.
This is a key leadership role within the technology function, offering the opportunity to shape the organisation’s infrastructure strategy and manage a high-performing technical team. The successful candidate will be the subject matter expert for all things networking while ensuring broader infrastructure operations align with business objectives.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the delivery, performance, and security of the organisation’s network infrastructure (including LAN/WAN, SD-WAN, firewalls, wireless, and VPN solutions).
  • Lead and develop a team of infrastructure and network engineers, fostering a culture of service excellence and accountability.
  • Work closely with senior stakeholders and external partners to ensure infrastructure services are robust, scalable, and fit for future growth.
  • Take ownership of network architecture, ensuring it meets both current operational needs and future strategic goals.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives, leveraging automation and modernisation to optimise service delivery.
  • Maintain documentation, policies, and standards for infrastructure operations.
  • Support incident, change, and problem management processes related to infrastructure services.
Candidate Profile:
  • A proven track record in managing IT infrastructure within medium to large-scale enterprise environments, with specialist expertise in networking.
  • Strong technical knowledge across key networking technologies such as Cisco, Meraki, Palo Alto, Fortinet, or similar.
  • Experience managing hybrid or cloud network environments (e.g., Azure, AWS).
  • Solid understanding of network security principles, best practices, and technologies.
  • Strong leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and motivate technical teams.
  • Relevant certifications such as CCNP, CCIE, Azure Network Engineer, or equivalent are highly desirable.
