Product Solutions Lead

SoCode is partnering with a global leader in critical telecommunications technology. Their products are essential tools for the UK Security Agencies and, as such, they have had minimal impact form recent events and instead recorded record sales for 2020. Boasting the Metropolitan Police amongst their recent contract wins, the business has never been busier and is investing heavily in NPD. To compliment this growth and support innovative product development into new markets, they now seek to expand their Product team with an experienced Product Solutions Lead.  

Ideally you will have experience of the radio and telecommunication sector, but consideration will be given to those coming from similar technical engineering sectors. Applicants will be required to hold or be able to obtain full UK Security clearance.

As the Products Solutions Lead you will play a key role within the Product Solutions and Support team. The product solutions team have a technical focus, providing in-depth product knowledge to support customers through training, delivery projects and in-life product support. Reporting to the Head of Product Solutions and Support, this role will have responsibility for the day to day management of the Product Solutions team. 

As the Product Solutions Lead you will beable to demonstrate the following. 

  • Been in a customer facing support and delivery experience within a commercial/B2B environment in a hi-tech product development organisation
  • Deployment of customer solutions including hosted software deployments, radio system deployment or system integration
  • A technical engineering background in the development and release of digital communications equipment, embedded software, cloud or server-based technology
  • Experience of leading teams to successfully deliver on customer requirements
  • Technical management of escalated issues and resolution of customer facing problems
  • Product development for software and/or hardware products including debugging and verification
  • Experience working with digital radio communication networks and associated technologies would be prefered but not essential.
