SoCode are recruiting on behalf of our exclusive customer - a High Profile UK Challenger Bank who have recently launched in the Retail Banking domain to great fanfare. This is the biggest UK Fintech event of 2021. 

 

You'll be working in a fast paced, highly AGILE, START UP environment - surrounded by the best technologists on the planet as they strive to create a new brand and innovative product within one of the most competitive markets on the planet. 

We're looking to build a new team of Product Owners who have a wide and diverse range of duties and responsibilities.  The challenge is enormous, and every day will look different so it's important to have a high adaptable skillset and an enjoyment of "spinning plates". 

Suitable candidates for these roles should have a wealth of exprience in the FinTech/Banking domain. You'll need to have extensive experience in Payment Cards. 

 

Key Responsibilities:

- Conduct detailed business and technical analysis; writing business requirements, breaking down into epics and stories with respect to credit/debit card transaction processing, issuance, lifecycle management, and value-added features including payment devices and tokenisation.

- Acting  as SME in the card payments domain including all industry standards, card scheme specifications, security standards 

- Plan and prioritise the backlog and work for the team, work with all internal and external stakeholders, facilitate agile ceremonies and processes to maintain a high performance team and proliferate positive team culture

 

Skills / Experience:

- Expertise in the card payments domain with strong experience across card schemes, merchant acceptance, acquiring and issuing systems

- Strong technical and analytical skills with strong critical thinking and problem-solving background in engineering or related disciplines 

- Excellent written and verbal communication skills and meticulous attention to detail

- Agile / SCRUM Certifications (desirable)
