The organisation

A group that work in the design manufacturing and supply of digital communication products for mission critical communication. They’re based a short distance for Cambridge North, in some truly stunning offices. The work they provide is largely within the public services domain, with the tech they work on being relied on in life or death scenarios. The work environment can be full on, with an expectation of delivery, though the management team do as much to relieve some of that pressure by allowing half days on Friday’s, arranging regular social events and working in spacious and modern working environments. If you want to work somewhere where you’ll make a serious impact in the real world, this is the environment you’ll want to be a part of.

The role

You’ll be working in the Cambridge Development Centre and reporting into the Baseband Team Leader, where you’ll be involved within the full product development, from concept and prototype stages, through to production and support. You’ll also be the go-to, when it comes to high speed digital design, but will also get involved in other areas of electronics. Your biggest contribution will be the technical design and specification of electronic circuitry for radio terminal products and accessories.

What you get in return

In return, you’ll be working on technology which will make a visible difference in the real world. You’ll be working with some true leaders of industry in your respective teams, and as such will receive some excellent one on one mentoring, with a tailored career plan to climb the ladder. You’ll be in a modern workspace, with an on-site cafeteria which offers free lunch and breakfast to all staff every day. You’ll also receive private medical & dental care, life assurance, free parking, regular social events, flexible working, company pension, half days on a Friday, 25 days annual leave and a salary of up to £60,000 which is negotiable, should there be a higher level of quality & relevant expertise.
