Principal Software Engineer (C/C++/C#)

£50,000 to £70,000 depending on experience.

We are partnered with a hugely exciting Cambridge start-up who have created a pioneering product that utilises cutting edge Internet of Things and automation technology.

Seeking an Embedded Software Engineer to join their team, this role is a fantastic opportunity to become part of a business that is rapidly growing and will require technical leadership as the company continue to innovate. The role will focus on low-level development using C/C++, whilst also working with C# and architectural design.

With the chance to work in a busy start up environment, you will be working as part of a cross-functional team.

The candidate should meet the following requirements:

• Degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering or numerate subject
• Embedded Expert – real-time C/C++ programming
• Understanding of C#
• Experience of low-level development

Desirable:

• Knowledge of .Net web service and messaging protocols (e.g. ZeroMQ)
