Job Title: PCB Design Engineer

The Company:

My client works in the design, manufacturing and supply of digital products for mission critical communication systems. The work they provide lies largely within the public services domain, with the tech they work on being relied on in life or death scenarios. The office is based just up the road from Cambridge North station, and houses state of the art engineering facilities - all under the same roof. The company value a healthy work life balance with every Friday ending at 12.30pm.

 

The Role:

You will join two other senior engineers working specifically on PCB Design as well as data file work. There has been a recent increase in workload, as well as future projects coming in, so there will be plenty of work to get involved in. You'll have the opportunity to work closely with the RF and Mechanical Engineers during your contract, and to start with the client has indicated that 12 weeks is the minimum timeframe for the contract however it is likely that this will be extended with every possibility of a permanent role at the end of the contract.

 

- Working closely with RF and Mechanical engineers on PCB Designs 

- Layout and Schematic Capture

- Using Siemens EDA
