Job Description

SoCode has partnered with a fast-growing artificial intelligence company revolutionising the way autonomous vehicles interpret and store their data; with higher electric efficiency and decreased latency. This is a chance to join a start up at one of the most exciting parts of their history, where they have established their brand to a point where they’re winning multiple million-pound contracts but small enough to still have the start-up feel with a close nit team. This position will give you the opportunity to not only learn and use the latest technologies, but to build a team as the company grows organically.

We are looking for passionate IT Engineers who have previous Linux BAU support at 1st,2nd and 3rd line with an interest with DevOps technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform and Ansible. We are ideally looking for individuals in a 2nd / 3rd line position who have virtualisation knowledge within VMware. It would also be desirable to have knowledge within cloud technologies such as AWS / Google cloud and Security / networking knowledge. You will be expected to know how to maintain their existing Netgate gateway, maintain and improve the general office infrastructure as well as set up routers, firewalls, traffic, Vpn’s, security, backups and QoS monitoring.

This is a role where you will see your work making a true difference to the business and you will proactively be helping this business out perform some of the biggest brands in the world. The Data Scientists and Software Engineers are currently running the infrastructure, which means the direction and management will be passed over to you.

At SoCode, we pride ourselves on an attractive referral scheme.

If you have Friends, Family or Colleagues looking for a new position in the near future tell them to contact us by either phone or email ensuring they provide us with your name. If we successfully find them a new position, we will provide you with thank you present to show our appreciation.
