Our client, a fast-growing Payment / Banking company based in Central London is looking to hire an experienced Test Team Leader to manage and guide the growing team of testers.

Our client operates on the cutting edge of modern Payments / Banking sector and is one of the UK’s fastest growing start-up, FInTech companies, so the Lead Test Engineer will be expected to be on top of both modern and emerging QA and Development techniques and tools. 

The Lead Test Engineer is a new position in the company and will be responsible for managing the fast-growing QA function.

Being the Lead Test Engineer one of your tasks will be managing a group of highly skilled Automation Testers (Selenium / C#) who are already set up and operating, but you will also be responsible for recruiting and growing the team in the future. You will also be expected to be hands on with regards to automation and manual testing.

The vacancy is based in the greater London area and is easily accessible by public transport. 

Key Skills and Experience:

-        Experienced with Selenium and have the ability to read and write C#

-        Experience within the Payments / Banking industry (FPS, CHAPS, BACs, SEPA etc.)

-        Have a startup mentality, with a willingness to assist with hands on work if required (Greenfield Work)

-        Knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum)

-        Strategy / Management Experience of QA Professionals

-        Excellent communication skills
