Java Programmer – Contract – Cambridge

One of SoCode’s prestigious, global client is currently looking for support within their Java programming function. This would be joining an existing team working on a fast-paced greenfield and migration project. The bar to entry for this company is extremely high and they ae looking for an exceptional developer who will help them to bring their new offering to life.

This is an immediate requirement and interviews can be arranged on short notice. Ideally, you will have experience across development and testing within a Java environment.

You will be required to:

-          Run Java test suites,

-          Port existing C demo programs to Java,

-          Create new demo programs,

Essential skills for this role:

-          Experience using Eclipse (debugging and UI for Java product),

-          Java and C,

-          IntelliJ UI,

-          Scala support experience,
