IT Support Engineer | £25,000 to £32,000 | Bury St Edmunds, Hybrid-Working | Driving License is Essential

Our client is a dynamic and rapidly growing Managed Service Provider (MSP) that specialises in delivering high-quality IT support and solutions to a diverse range of clients. With a reputation for excellent customer service and a commitment to staying at the forefront of technology, they are seeking a talented IT Support Engineer to join their team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide remote and on-site IT support to clients, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and network equipment.
  • Monitor and maintain systems to ensure high availability and performance.
  • Assist with setting up new client infrastructure, including servers, networks, and security systems.
  • Respond to technical issues within SLAs and escalate complex problems as necessary.
  • Keep detailed documentation of support requests and resolutions.
  • Ensure client satisfaction by providing proactive support and clear communication.
Key Requirements:
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Engineer or similar role, preferably within an MSP environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Linux operating systems.
  • Experience with networking technologies (LAN, WAN, VPN, firewalls).
  • Familiarity with cloud services such as Microsoft 365 and Azure.
  • Excellent troubleshooting skills and attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple support requests and prioritise tasks effectively.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
