Job Title: Ink Systems 3rd Line Support Engineer
Location: Cambridge | United Kingdom
Salary: Up To £50,000
Job Type: Permanent

I’m working with a fantastic, award-winning, product-oriented company just outside of Cambridge comprising of a team of highly collaborative engineers.
You will take a proactive lead in working with customers to integrate the ink delivery system into the company machines. This will include remote diagnostics over the phone as well as on-site visits. You’ll need to be motivated in dealing with challenging customer issues, troubleshooting, and have a genuine interest in programming languages and mechanical engineering.
You’ll be the primary contact in troubleshooting systems issues – and will be pivotal to both the company’s and personal aspirations. This would be a fantastic opportunity to build a career in research and development in one of the most exciting cutting-edge technologies around.
You Have
- Excellent customer-facing skills
- Experience of working in a Windows-centric environment (Linux would be beneficial too)
- An appreciation and understanding of popular programming languages such as C#, C++, or Python
- A good understanding of physics, software, electronics, and mechanical design
- A desire to be proactive and hands-on with fixing technical issues
