Head of Firmware- Perm- Cambridge £60k-£70k

I am again working with our global leading, IoT, consumer electronics client in Cambridge who is continuing to lead one of their business driving technology teams. In the next step of their planned growth strategy, they are looking for a hands on Head of Firmware to join the team. The successful applicant will be responsible for building out the engineering team as well as working hands on with Embedded C and other technologies to deliver on innovative projects. 

This is a great opportunity for a Senior/Principal Engineer to move into a 'Head of' role or for somebody in a junior management position to continue their growth in an exciting and fast paced environment. 

What they are looking for: 

• Significant experience in embedded C
• Experience with an embedded OS
• Great communicator.
• Familiarisation with STM32 preferred
• High energy with a want to work in an agile environment
• Experience in IoT would be helpful
