Hardware Support Engineer

Thanks to continued success and growth, our client is looking to expand their Baseband team with a Hardware Support Engineer. This is a role that will suit a dynamic and ambitious individual who enjoys partnering with various business streams - most notably with mechanical, software and audio personnel. This business has a proven track record of developing internal staff and this, coupled with the exposure you will gain from working cross functionally, will offer you plenty of opportunity for progression in various directions.

This role will require a thorough and methodical approach to problem solving issues and will be the main point of contact for any and all hardware support issues - you will investigate all electronics related issues in the lab, manage and update documentation for issue reporting and PLM database and then progress reporting to internal customers and management. We're looking for someone with excellent electronics fault-finding skills who can confidently use a variety of lab test equipment including DVM, PSU, Oscilloscope and data-logger. As well as this, you will be able to confidently read schematics, PCB assembly diagrams and component data-sheets.
