The Company

A global brand, with offices across the world, you will be a part of a R&D, hi-tech facility in the south of Cambridge, helping to design and manufacture an ever growing and changing consumer product line. Sales have remained consistent, even in the current climate, which has allowed these guys to reinvest into and diversify their product line and seriously looking into their recruitment requirements. 

The Role

This role as Graduate Electronic Design Engineer will be part of a team that designs and develops leading edge, hand-held, premium consumer products, on time and in-line with product requirements. You will work in concept generation and prototyping, product development and the transfer to manufacturing, 

Due to a surge in sales in 2020, the business has invested a lot of their profits back into the R&D team, resulting in massive investment into new product development to add to their product portfolio. You will help with the detail design, prototyping, production process identification, component specifications and discuss with component suppliers.

This role will be a full-time permanent position offering £25,000-30,000 plus great benefits.

You will have the following skills and experience…

• A degree in Electronic Engineering or related subject
• Passionate about R&D based innovation and engineering  
• Good interpersonal skills
• Comfortable with the core concepts in electronic engineering
